Q: How do I save a ringtone?

A: Once you have access to the site from the phone's browser, locate the ringtone you wish to download. Select the tone by clicking down on the central select button and you'll be taken to a screen that will ask you to download the tone. Once you select the tone from this screen, you'll be asked to download the file. Select "Yes" from the lower tab and this will save the tone to your phone's library. It will immediately take you to your media player and play the file that just downloaded so back out to the main menu of the phone.

From the main menu of the phone click the "Start" tab which is to the left of the central select button and look for an option called "Media Center" and select it with the central select button. Here you'll see an "Audio" option and once it is selected you'll be taken to a list of tones. Look for the name of the tone you downloaded and highlight it. Once it's highlighted, please select the "Menu" tab located to the left of the central select button and there will be an option to "Set as Ringtone". Select this option and you should get an info message that the ringtone is set successfully.

Q: How do I make it so that when a contact calls a specific ringtone is played?

A: You'll need to go into the "Start" tab from the main menu of the phone. The "Start" tab is located to the left of the central select tab. After entering the start menu locate an option named "Contacts". Here you'll see a list of contacts you've added to the phone so look for the contact you wish to apply the tone to and highlight the name. Once the contact is highlighted click the central select button and you'll be taken into the edit screen of the contact. Here you'll see "custom ringtone" and you'll need to highlight the title below the option and click the central select button. This will take you into your ringtone list where you'll need to find the title of the tone you saved. Once you find it, highlight it and click the central select button and this will save the tone to your contact.

Q: Is it possible to access the site from a computer then transfer the ringtones to the phone?

A: If you do not have a data plan with the phone or would prefer to download the tones to your computer you may access the site via the instructions you received when you purchased the product. If you have trouble locating the information you can always e-mail us at support@terratial.net and our customer support team will be happy to assist you.

Using the USB cable for linking the phone to the computer you'll need to connect the two. Once you have the phone's folder menu open in your computer, you'll need to save the tone to phone by dragging the file from the computer to the SD card or phone's memory.

Here you'll see an "Audio" option and once it is selected you'll be taken to a list of tones. Look for the name of the tone you downloaded and highlight it. Once it's highlighted, please select the "Menu" tab located to the left of the central select button and there will be an option to "Set as Ringtone". Select this option and you should get an info message that the ringtone is set successfully.

Q: How do I make my ringtones louder?

A: From the main menu of the phone click the "Start" tab which is to the left of the central select button and look for an option called "Settings". Click the central select button on the option and you'll see another option call "Profiles". Highlight "Profiles" and click the central select button and you'll be taken to a list of different profiles. It should automatically be set to "Normal" is you've never changed this option, but for now we'll go into "Normal" by clicking the "Menu" tab to the right of the central select button. Select edit from this menu and you'll see an option for "Ring Volume". Highlight the text below this option and if you click right or left on the direction pad you'll be able to change the volume. Once you have the desired volume select "Done" from the left tab to save the changes.
